You should be able to describe working principles of Cisco SD-WAN and Cisco SD-Access solutions, explain wireless and wired QoS concepts, as well as differentiate between software and hardware switching systems;
  • Virtualization: This topic covers 10% of the whole content. You should also know about the concepts of routing, including VRF-lite, administrative distance, static routing, bidirectional forwarding detection, routing protocol authentication, and policy-based routing, among others;
  • Software-Defined Infrastructure: This objective covers 25% of the whole content. The learners will be measured based on their ability to perform different technical tasks on specific technologies, including Cisco SD-WAN and Cisco SD-Access;
  • Transport Technologies & Solutions: Here, the interested individuals should expect about 15% of the exam content. They are required to demonstrate their understanding of specific concepts and technologies such as MPLS and DMVPN;
  • Infrastructure Security & Services: About 15% of the exam content will be about network optimization and operations, device security within Cisco IOS-XE, network services and security, system management, as well as QoS;
